One day he’ll understand the energy he radiates

The reason for his struggles is to learn

A difficult beginning is worth it

For the prosperous future in store

The moment seems impossible

Days feel like weeks

Depression deep and unbearably heavy

But pain is temporary and wisdom cuts into the soul

A wound that stings, but medicine that heals

Empathy learned through years of continual pain

It happened for a reason

His soul was primed for this reality

Nothing to do but accept the life he was meant to live

You can’t choose your destiny

But you can learn to accept it

One day the pieces will fall into place

But for now, the picture is fragmented

The puzzle incomplete

Through more pain will come additional pieces

Maybe it will take longer than he hopes

But that’s a part of the plan

It’s okay to feel empty

But know this is only a stage
