my dreams

these grand dreams I have

I imagine designing a whole world

the physical beauty

and aesthetic

unsurmountable

leaves those in awe

I imagine designing a new society

free from the social issues

inequality

and hate

based on community

sustainability

and love

breaking down

the physical and mental barriers

that hold us down

useless infrastructure

corrupt systems

perpetuating racism

sexism

homophobia

designed oppression

built into the structure

of society

but we can design it out

all these thoughts and ideas

in my mind

but to actually do it

seems impossible

too big for a single person

changes need to be made

on a global scale

we can’t continue down this path

it only leads to our own destruction
