paralysis

for the longest time

my only dream

was escape

and now that I’m out

I’m overwhelmed

by newfound freedom

the amount of choices

that are now available

are paralyzing

I sit and wonder what to do

staring at the paths before me

which one should I start on

and does it really matter?

maybe the paths are connected in some way

and no matter what I choose

I’ll end up somewhere else

eventually

the problem is the initial choice
