Why do people
Have conversations
Always focused on
What theyre going to say next
But not truly listening
To what the other person is saying?

If our minds arent
In the conversation
The only other place we can be
Is in our heads

Our thoughts
Louder than the sounds of life
We can only focus on so much at one time
