We kept going
Higher and higher
I couldnt bare to look forward

My back was facing yours
Afraid that id fall
If i let myself see

A slight glance
Every now and then
The sky was black
All around us
Were floating numbers and letters

My stomach dropped
One foot in the matrix
One foot out

Breaking free
From the earth beneath our feet
Letting go
Of all that we once knew

Still i face back
It’s hard to move on

You were directing us upwards
And while i looked to the past
Time never stopped

We were another mile away
All that existed
Were faded memories
Nothing left for us down there

I turned myself around
Careful not to fall
And it wasnt so scary after all

All that time wasted
Sitting with the fear
Of finally moving on

Im not sure who you were
I never saw your face
But you accepted my fear
And i trusted you
As you flew us through the air

Onwards we went
Into the sky
Maybe out of our minds
